Gushi County Medical Waste Centralized Disposal Center

On February 28, 2017, the People's Government of Gushi County and Henan Liying Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. signed an investment agreement. According to the agreement, Henan Liying Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. registered and established Gushi County Liaojie Medical Waste Disposal Co., Ltd. in Gushi County, responsible for the construction, operation and management of the Gushi County Medical Waste Centralized Disposal Center. On July 2, 2018, the company obtained the project filing documents, and the project preparation and construction work began.

The construction project of Gushi County Medical Waste Disposal Center is located west of Fumin Road on the north side of the west section of Fenghuang Avenue in Gushi County Industrial Concentration Area. The microwave disinfection process is used to treat medical waste. The treatment scale is 10t/d and covers an area of 3200m2. The service scope of the project is medical and health institutions at or above the township level under the jurisdiction of the administrative area of Gushi County. The treated solid medical waste is sent to the landfill of Gushi County for landfill treatment. The project was officially put into use in April 2020.
